Is MENistry

A  Ministry To and Through Men.

2 Corinthians 4:1

T.H.I.S. .... is Life on Purpose    T.H.I.S. ... is Who I Am

Men wanted for hazardous journey. No wages. Constant danger. Building a kingdom of God in the face of adversaries. Placing your life on the line for a cause greater than yourself. Safe return doubtful. Honor and recognition in case of success.** T.H.I.S...Is MENistry. Do you have what it takes to  follow Christ?

There are no easy routes. There is only One Way. To follow Christ takes real, authentic manhood. T.H.I.S. (Trust, Honor, Integrity, Service) is Ministry to Men and Through Men, where men develop their purpose to follow the leadership of Christ. Implementing the framework outlined in Dr. Patrick Morley’s book “No Man Left Behind” and strategy of "Sleeping Giant" by Kenny Luck and Tom Crick, and by using  intense and intentional  studies (Men’s Fraternity by Robert Lewis, Kingdom Man by Tony Evans, and A Man’s Guide to the Spiritual Disciplines by Patrick Morley, et al)  men grow in character, in spirituality, and in service to the body of Christ. From The Quest for Authentic Manhood, to advancing in our culture as kingdom men, our studies encourage men to reject passivity, accept responsibility, lead courageously, and invest eternally. Moreover, men learn that we are not alone in this adventure, but rather we are in it together. The journey of the abundant life will require men to be Courageous, and to take Risk. If we are to see the revival of the church in our community and our country, we must awaken the Sleeping Giant, the Authentic Men of God, to accept the challenge. We can provide training seminars, workshops, online surveys, speakers and access to all the best Christ centered resources to help you and your church reach and build into the lives of men.

Our Purpose is to help men discover, develop, and deploy the power of a transformed life in Christ.
Our Goal is to train men to preach, teach, reach....and get in The Way.
Our Commitment is to Christ and to each other.

If you are interested in beginning such an adventure for you or your men, contact either Jack Elliott, Pastor of GBC at jackelliot@gasburgbaptistchurch.com or Jim Shields, Director of Ministry to Men of GBC at shieldzj@integrity.com.   Or, you can just sit there and wonder why nothing changes. Anyone can believe in Christ......but are you willing to believe Christ? Join us Saturday mornings at 7:15 a.m. for MAN FRAT SATurdays, and Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. sharp for HONORGUARD....A Men's Challenge to be On Our Guard.
"AS FOR ME AND MY HOUSE....WE WILL SERVE THE LORD."
Courageous Enough to make that Pledge?
