Women on Mission 2008-09 Welcome to a New Season for Women on MIssion

Oct 20th-" Seasons of Life"-Eccl 3:1-"There is an appointed time for everything .  And there is a time for every event under heaven." Preview the year and see how you can be involved. Chili provided. Please bring a bag of indiviually wrapped candy. We will assemble college and career packs

Nov 17th-"Shine"-Matt 5:16-"Let your light shine before men."  Special speaker-Jannice Rodriquez.  She is involved in the Hispanic Women's Ministry and will share how she is a a light to others and inspires us to do the same.

Dec 15th-"The Ultimate Gift"-Luke 2:7 'And she gave birth to her firstborn so; and she wrapped Him in cloths, and laid Him in a manger because there was no room for them in the inn."Creative ideas for Christmas gifts. Come fellowship and participate in craft stations.

Jan 19th -"Showers of Blessing" Psalm 139:13 "You formed my inward parts; you formed me in my mother's womb."  Becky Perry shares with us about the Mooresville Pregnancy Care center and we'll prepare blankets to be donated to the center.  Please bring a baby bottle or pacifier to be donated too.

Feb16th-"Firm Foundations" Psalm 127:1a"Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it."We will learn about the Nehemiah House as Bill Gott speaks.  We will put together care bags to be donated to the clients who stay at the house.  We will also prepare for the upcoming blood drive/breakfast on Sat. March 7th.

March16th-"Got Fruit"-Gal 5:22-"But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, self-control;against such things there is no law."Special Speaker: Gale Foxx-Christian Women's Job Core State Director shares about the fruit of her ministry program involving mentoring women.  Banana splits provided. 

April 20th-"Tag,Your It" Prepare for upcoming garage sale.  Light supper provided.

May 18th- "Run the Race"-Hebrews 12:1b"And let us run with endurance the good race that is set before us." We will meet at Georgena Morgan's house for our last meeting in the spring. More info. to follow.

Yearly Schedule:  All Meetings begin at 6:30, at the church and have child care.
